Our Experience in Sarahan – A Peaceful Stop After Our Kinnaur Trip
Our journey to Sarahan actually started after the Kinnaur trip. After long mountain roads and continuous travel, we needed such a place where we could get a little peace — and at that time Sarahan felt like the absolutely right choice.
Our main purpose was to do darshan at Bhimakali Temple Sarahan, because we had heard a lot about this temple — especially about its spiritual energy and unique architecture.
On the way, we also stopped at Jeori Hot Water Spring. Bathing in that hot water in the cold weather was a completely different experience. Local people consider it quite sacred, and honestly, after stopping there for some time, the body was feeling completely relaxed.
From there we left directly for Sarahan. As we were climbing higher, the views were becoming even more beautiful.
As soon as we reached Sarahan, the first feeling that came was — peace.
No crowd, no noise… just a calm environment.
First of all, we went to Bhimakali Temple and did darshan. The atmosphere of the temple felt very peaceful and powerful. The wooden structure, the energy inside the temple, and the surrounding silence — everything was very different.
We spent a lot of time there, without any hurry.
After this, we started roaming a little in Sarahan village. Small houses, clean air, and the simple life of local people — everything felt very genuine.
👉 To tell the truth, we did not do any “activity” here…
but still we did not even realize when many hours passed.
Just sitting and watching the views, feeling the air, and living that moment —
this is the real beauty of this place.
